Join Nottingham Contemporary for a dub poetry jamming session with Brother Portrait as part of Feedback Loop, our series of events relating to themes in Julian Abraham 'Togar''s exhibition.

and they danced til their bodies were burning

til all that was left was light

draping the edges

opaque and soft

every word spat as ankle weight,

glance thrown to clasp the mind

make you feel a brittle being

became dust in their shine

powerless against a joyful breath

air displaced after pirouette
