Nottingham Contemporary are running SEND Sessions on Wednesday afternoons, 1pm-3pm, as part of their Easter Holiday Family Activities.
These are lower stimulation sessions for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including neurodivergent children – and their families. These sessions are for families who feel this environment would be suited to them, whether you have a diagnosis or not.
These sessions will include:
- Reduced Visitor Numbers
- Limited drop-in spaces available
- Lower Sounds & Subdued Lighting
- Additional Sensory toys & Ear Defenders
- Additional rest spaces for regulation

Their activities this half term will be inspired by the new exhibitions, Shahana Rajani: Lines That World a River لکیروں سے دریا تھامنا and Dala Nasser: Cemetery of Martyrs - join them to make, explore and play.
The SEND Sessions will take place on Wednesday afternoon, 1pm-3pm. They also have Family Activities on Tue, Wed, Thu 10am-12pm and Tue & Thu 1pm-3pm.
They invite you to book a space for your session as spaces are limited. Book one ticket per person, including adults & children.
If you are unable to make it on the day, please cancel your tickets so that others may attend.
