Rebel. Outlaw. Man Of The People.
The adventures of Robin Hood are well known throughout the world and have inspired our storytellers, painters, playwrights and authors across the centuries. Now in 2015, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Theatre Royal, a brand new set of tales for the stage will emerge, retelling these age-old tales afresh.
Join Nottingham's most famous folklore hero on a journey through a century and a half of Nottingham's vibrant and colourful history - from robbing the rich on the Victorian streets and alleyways of 1865 right up to disturbing the peace of present day Sherwood Forest.
In an exciting collaboration, a group of the region's leading playwrights have joined forces to create a series of new short stories, each with their own unique take on the man behind the legend; the outlaw, the agitator, the lover, the activist, the hero, the brand.
Don't miss this chance to join us and celebrate our city's greatest hero.
Tickets are available from the Theatre Royal's Box Office in person, on 0115 9895555 or via www.trch.co.uk
