About

Wednesday 11 June 2025 | 7.30pm (1 hour 40 minutes including interval)

Djanogly Theatre, Nottingham

Tickets : £18

Highlands-based folk singer, songwriter, storyteller Iona Lane delivers poetic songs that link unheard stories with today's world. Swilkie, her new album written on the Isles of Eigg, Mull and Sanday in Orkney, interweaves ecology, conservation, islands and folklore. From basking sharks to lighthouses, lichen to vanishing islands, a sense of place and landscape are at the core of these songs.
