HSBC UK Let's Ride Nottingham is closing roads to traffic in Nottingham on Sunday 15 September and hosting a street festival for anyone on a bike. Mountain Bike Stunt Show, music, food and drink, fun and games, demos, giveaways, activities, challenges, face painting – it’s all happening.

It’s free to enter and a fun, active, family-friendly day out. You don’t have to go the 5k distance – just as much or as little as you want. And you don’t need to be an experienced cyclist – there are no cars on the road, you can wobble, zig-zag and stop as much as you like.

You just need to be up for some fun. Everyone’s invited – see you there!

The free-to-attend event will get underway at The Meadows Recreation Ground at 11am on Sunday 15 September, with the 3.8km course taking participants riverside on Victoria Embankment, crossing over the River Trent, and eventually looping back via Wilford Suspension Bridge. Finishing at 3pm, riders are invited to cycle the course as many – or as few – times as they wish, and at their own pace, whilst enjoying a host of family-friendly activities, refreshments and entertainment along the route.

The range of attractions within the festival zone includes live music, a sports activation hub with come-and-try opportunities, a  MTB stunt show, face painting, pedal powered fun with Cyclone Works, and coaches from HSBC UK Go-Ride and Ready Set Ride – British Cycling’s development programmes for children and young people.
