About

Bromley House Library
Tickets from £8

Join Jess Kidd at Bromley House Library as she talks about her latest release - Little Spark.

A heady mix of gothic fiction and steampunk themes, this spellbinding period novel pitches a girl with uncanny electrical abilities into a shadowy house where eccentric inventors are trying to produce automata.
Bodkin Bell, orphan, pickpocket and survivor, doesn't know where she came from, but she knows she's different. Gaslights flare as she walks past. Cutlery spins. Shocks fly from her fingertips.

A Victorian-era mystery of sublime invention - with a twist you won't see coming. Little Spark is gothic suspense at its finest.
