Innovative, award-winning multi-instrumentalist Malin Lewis blends Scottish West Coast tradition with a unique, self-made two-octave bagpipe. Joined by Sally Simpson (fiddle) and Ali Hutton (guitar), they craft dance-inducing melodies inspired by European folk, queerness, and the universe.
Their 2024 debut album Halocline – named after the boundary between salt and fresh water, home to unique ecosystems – reflects Malin's trans identity and singular artistry. It's a deeply original sound that captivates audiences wherever it's heard.
