Nicola Matteis - Alla Fantasia
Caroline Shaw - Gustav Le Gray
Chopin - Mazurka in A minor, Op.17 No.4
Messiaen - Theme and Variations
Messiaen - Quartet for the End of Time

Manchester Collective's musicians are joined by pianist Kathy Stott for this exploration of Olivier Messiaen's darkest and most unforgettable work: Quartet for the End of Time. If you've never experienced this powerful, transcendental work for piano, violin, cello and clarinet, written by the composer whilst imprisoned in a prisoner-of-war camp in Germany in 1941, then Manchester Collective's production is an ideal introduction.

Free tickets available for ages 8-25. See lakesidearts.org.uk/Cavatina
