Tuesday 18th March 2025
Arnold Local Methodist Church
Tickets: £1 members, £3 non members
Michael ‘Mick’ Radnall has spent his life living and working in and around the Arnold area. The Arnold Local History Group is once again pleased to welcome him back to present a follow-up to his hugely successful exploration of ‘Old Arnold.’
As a youngster, Mick attended the National School on Front Street, which has since been demolished, and he recalls many of the town's other buildings that have met the same fate—some more fondly than others. He also remembers many of Arnold’s local ‘characters’ and has a wealth of fascinating stories to share.
All are welcome to attend and listen to his engaging accounts—or even contribute their own! It promises to be an interesting and enjoyable evening.
Visitors can attend the talk at the cost of £3
If you wish to join the Arnold Local History Group you can do so also at the annual cost of £10 and entitles you to attend monthly meetings for £1, vote at the AGM and be eligible for election to the committee.
