Wendy Kirkland’s latest project is entitled Piano Divas and is a celebration of the female piano heroes which have inspired her and continue to do so.
Both Wendy Kirkland & Pat Sprakes have been coming to Stray’s since 2008 and seem like part of the furniture. Their mellow vibe extends beyond their gig and seeps into the very fabric of the room in which they play – a bonus if you’re in the audience!
Pat Sprakes is a superlative guitarist and double bass player who has worked with jazz greats such as Darius Brubeck, Pat McCarthy and Tony Kofi. Together, Wendy and Pat produce a sound that is mellow, swinging, harmonious and full of life.
