Lakeside Arts
Dive into a day of imagination, adventure and sensory discovery at the Nottingham Puppet Festival Family Day, taking place at Lakeside Arts on Sunday 5th July. Families can enjoy a wonderful programme of puppet theatre and interactive experiences designed to delight children of all ages, with a particular focus on accessibility and inclusive storytelling.
Journey through magical underwater worlds in At Sea, a captivating non verbal puppet adventure featuring stunning projections, music and a sailor's quest to find their lost Heart Compass. Younger audiences can also experience The River, an immersive sensory performance filled with wildlife, live music, textures and puppetry inspired by a river's journey from mountain source to flowing waterway.
The day also includes the Sensory Family Picnic, where families can bring a picnic and relax on the lawn while enjoying songs, puppetry and interactive activities led by specialist theatre company Bamboozle. Set within the beautiful surroundings of Lakeside Arts, it's a perfect opportunity to enjoy a creative and memorable family day out as part of the Nottingham Puppet Festival.
