A Summer Celebration featuring a host of classical favourites and orchestral film music. The action will take place in St Mary Magdalene Church, Newark-on-Trent on Saturday 4th July, with a slightly earlier than normal start time of 6:30pm. On the programme are Fanfare for the Common Man and Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland, George Gershwin's Cuban Overture and An American in Paris, the Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber, and music from the films Jurassic Park, Chicken Run and How to Train Your Dragon.
