Old Market Square
Nottingham’s Old Market Square will once again be transformed into a sparkling festive destination, as Winter Wonderland returns to bring joy, excitement, and Christmas magic all through the festive period.
Back bigger and brighter than ever, Winter Wonderland will feature its much-loved Ice Rink and Sky Skate Ice Path, with a dedicated children’s rink for younger skaters to join in the fun. Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking views of the city from the towering Observation Wheel, step inside the famous Ice Bar – returning with a brand-new theme for 2025 – and soak up the atmosphere at the cosy bars and festive Christmas Market.
As always, entry to Winter Wonderland is completely free, meaning everyone can wander through the festive markets, enjoy the sights, and soak up the Christmas spirit. With free entertainment taking place throughout the event, it offers something magical for all ages, no matter the budget. The event also plays a vital role in driving footfall through the city centre, supporting Nottingham’s shops, bars, and restaurants during the busy festive season.
Corporate and group bookings are now available, making Winter Wonderland the perfect setting for festive celebrations with colleagues and friends. In addition, pre-booking for bars and the Ice Rink will open from early October, giving visitors the chance to plan their Christmas outings in advance.
