With a colourful parade, live music, and inspiring speeches and performances; come along and celebrate Nottinghamshire Pride 2019!

This year Pride will be marking the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots with the theme 'You Are Enough',  highlighting the minority LGBTQ+ communities and remembering the LGBTQ+ heroes of the past

Pride March 

The Pride march will leave from outside Marks and Spencer on the corner of Lister Gate and Castle Gate at 11am, you will see a yellow sign that says “Pride Marchers”, please start to assemble at this point. People joining the equality march are asked to gather from 10.00am. 

The march will parade through the city centre to Hockley, where there will be live entertainment, information stalls, music, art and an incredible atmosphere, as the city comes together to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community. 

Pride Event Hockley

The event takes place in the historic Lace Market and Hockley. LGBT venues are all holding events and they will lead the celebrations. Enjoy live entertainment, information stalls, music and art up to 6.30pm

Official Party Venues

Broadway Café Bar Terrace | 12pm-9pm 
Broadway Cafe Bar Terrace will showcase a range of DJ’s playing music to the crowd in Broad street from their mezzanine open window bar. DJ’s will play a mix of pop, disco and dance to entertain their crowds on the Broadway Terrace and Broad Street after the pride march. There will also be a comedy performance courtesy of local comedian and Notting-ham celebrity Charity Shop Sue.

The New Foresters | 12pm-6am
The New Foresters, Nottingham’s oldest gay bar, will be hosting a Nottingham Pride Party, Open midday till 6am, Disco, Food and 4 Beer Gardens. They’ve even got free gladiator and pillow fight inflatables if you fancy a go! Children are welcome until 5pm.

Propaganda | 1pm-7am
Local venue Propaganda will be having a PRIDE 2019 party, including an outdoor bar and DJs all day. They will be hosting a midnight performance by Livin' Joy 'Dreamer' feat Luzahnn. Advanced wristbands are available at their bar.

The Lord Roberts | 2pm-2am
The Lord Roberts have got the party going from 2pm-2am! Ales, Gins, and in true summer style they’re having a BBQ in their back garden, with food supplied by 'Homemade Cafe'. DJs will keep the party going upstairs for the afternoon, and in the evening the party mo-ves downstairs where UNDRGRND Presents DSCO – A star studded future techno-colou-red disco dreamcoat of an all day shindig!
