The award-winning Proms in the Park returns to Bridgford Park in West Bridgford on Saturday June 27 from 12.30pm to 9pm with Spice Girls Experience headlining the annual event in conjunction with Armed Forces Day.
Event goers can enjoy a full day of live music and entertainment. The headline act will perform the biggest hits of the iconic girl group, from chart-topper Spice Up Your Life to fan favourite Who Do You Think You Are?, recreating the era of Girl Power with impressive authenticity.
Visitors can also dance and sing along to crowd-pleasing performances from a variety of talented local groups and artists, including Nottingham Concert Band, Nottingham Youth Band, Mansfield District Corps of Drums and Lady Bay Soul Collective.
Britain’s Got Talent 2024 Finalists Northants Sings Out, famed for their high-energy, feel-good mashups of classic hymns and dance tracks will also take to the stage in the evening.
Proms in the Park provides an opportunity to support local Armed Forces, with representatives from the Royal British Legion and other Rushcliffe-based military groups in attendance.
Alongside our Armed Forces Community Covenant, the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal will be showcased as this year’s official charity, with the event part‑funded by the Ministry of Defence.
Local sports clubs and partner organisations will also be present, with a range of refreshments available, including hot and cold drinks, a licensed bar, ice cream, pizza and a BBQ.
