Join us for Selected 15 - a screening of bold new artists' moving image works from across the UK.
Selected 15 showcases a vibrant collection of new short films by some of the most exciting early-career artists working today, nominated by the shortlisted artists of the Film London Jarman Award 2024. This compelling programme, curated by videoclub and Film London Artists' Moving Image Network (FLAMIN), tours leading arts venues across the UK.
From a speculative oil rig ritual in the Scottish Highlands to the sonic echoes of South London's buried waterways; from the intimate retelling of a mother-daughter memory to digital hauntings of racialised surveillance - these works explore ecology, mythology, history, and identity through experimental, personal, and poetic lenses.
Programme of films:
Fergus Carmichael, Rhadinace, 8 mins 27 secs (2024)
Jazmin Morris, Mad Esmond (V1), 1 min 30 secs (2025)
Kadeem Oak, Effra Creek! Effra Wash! Effra Splash!, 19 mins (2022)
Liberty Smith, My Exploding House, 17 mins 13 secs (2024)
Nia Fekri, I've Perfected Sleep Travel, 5 mins (2023)
Niki Kohandel, A Departure, 2 mins (2025)
Samara Addai, Mood to Make Love, 3mins 26 secs (2024)
Teef Chan, Under The Trees of Hampstead Heath, I ate Fei Larm Char Rice, 2 mins 28 secs (2022)
Expect a rich mix of storytelling and experimentation - intimate, defiant, and dazzling in scope.
Curated and produced by videoclub and Film London Artists' Moving Image Network. Supported by Arts Council England and Film London.
