Come to hear the famous, and powerful Second Symphony by Sibelius, played in Nottingham's Albert Hall on a Sunday afternoon. Easy parking and home in daylight, it's a good time for a wonderful concert that includes Prokofiev's 2nd Piano Concerto played by a stunning young player from Manchester, Andy Deng.
We introduce the concert with a piece 'This Midnight Hour' by a modern composer Anna Clyne who has been working with orchestras, choreographers, filmmakers and visual artists around the world.
Refreshments are available and it is a beautiful hall to enjoy - join us on Sunday 9th March at 3pm when Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra brings the excitement of a full symphony orchestra to young people for only £5, and for adults tickets are £20 and £16 depending on where you sit.
