Stapleford's Christmas Celebration is Back!

• 1:00pm – 6:30pm – Christmas Market & Festive Fairground
• 1:00pm – 4:30pm – Santa's Grotto at Conservative Club; 1:00pm – 2:00pm pre-booked accessible session; 2:00pm – 4:30pm general admission
• 4:30pm – 7:00pm – Live Entertainment at Derby Road Central Car Park
• 5:30pm – Lights Switch On (Walter Parker Square V.C Memorial Square)
• 7:00pm – Finale Fireworks (Walter Parker Square V.C Memorial Square)
 
The day kicks off from 1:00pm with a Christmas market full of festive treats, hot food, sweets, community stalls. From 4:30pm you can enjoy the lively street theatre act Elves and the Goodometer. Take in the carol singing by the George Spencer Band the popular acoustic duo Fran and Jono, then dance into the evening with a lively set from The SKAS playing upbeat Ska and 2Tone tunes.
 
The big Lights Switch On takes place at 5:30pm, led by the Mayor of Broxtowe and the Stapleford Town Mayor, followed by a fireworks finale at 7:00pm, best viewed from Derby Road Car Park.
 
Please note: Victoria Street will be closed from 10:00am to 9:00pm, and both Victoria Street and Derby Road car parks will be closed all day. Residents affected by closures will be notified in advance. This event is organised by the Broxtowe Borough Council.
