Steaming Day at Nottingham Industrial Museum

On the last Sunday of each month the Nottingham Industrial Museum's hardy crew of volunteers stoke the engines and bring their magnificent working exhibits to life. See the awe-inspiring Basford Beam Engine take its majestic strokes as it recalls the days when Nottingham relied on it for the city’s water. Watch the Fowler ploughing engine generate steam and chat to the fascinating team.

Nottingham Industrial Museum is a volunteer-run community museum focusing on our city's hugely-important industrial past.

Admission on Steaming Days:  Adults £6 | Concessions £4.00 | Children (Under 16) FREE
