Join The Arnold Local History Group on May 19th 2015 as they welcome the Southwell Workhouse Storytellers.
The Workhouse Storytellers are a group of volunteers with an enthusiasm for sharing tales of the infamous Workhouse’s former occupants.
Each story is inspired by Workhouse records - census documents, punishment and medical records and correspondence with the Poor Law Commissioners in London.
It looks set to be a fun, informative and inspirational evening and the history group welcome all!
