Let tour guide, Lucy Brouwer, of Watson Fothergill Walk, take you through the stunning sights and verbal histories of Nottingham's finest architectural background. Finishing your tour at Debbie Bryan, located in the heart of the Nottingham Lace Market with our popular Cream Tea.
Ever wondered how one architect can have two names on one building? Or what links one of Nottingham's foremost Victorian architects with Mick Jagger and Thomas Hardy? These questions and more are answered during a skilfully guided tour around the buildings of architect Watson Fothergill in Nottingham City Centre.
Learn about the work of one of Nottingham's most prominent Victorian architects, his signature style and the influence of the Gothic on the city's buildings.
Your walking tour starts close to Nottingham Market Square at the Nottingham Tourism & Travel Centre and will end as you arrive at our Nottingham Lace Market gallery and tea room to enjoy our Cream Tea service where you will enjoy your choice of tea or coffee alongside our own recipe, freshly baked fruit scones. These are served with cream and fruit preserve.
