Meet the Tinneys

Experience Nottinghamshire have searched high and low for the ideal family to be our roving reporters for some of the best family fun activities in Nottinghamshire over the summer holidays. After a long search, and some very hard decisions, we found the Tinneys! A family of four ready to explore, discover and share. We caught up with them before their big adventures start this Friday. Tell us a little more about your family. We are Jamie (Dad) Jack (Mum) Molly (7years) and Maisy (5yrs) What are your favourite things to do as a family? We like trying out new things and visiting new places.  The girls love days out and are always keen to get involved in new experiences. Jamie and I are happy to tag along with them as long as there is somewhere nice to have a cup of coffee (and a cake) too. What is your favourite thing about Nottinghamshire? That the city and the countryside are not too far apart. Although we live in the city, within half an hour we can be somewhere 'green' like Sherwood Pines or Clumber Park. What are you most looking forward to on your summer staycation in Notts? Visiting places we've not been to before and taking lots of photographs along the way!
