Award winning playwright Mike Kenny, has adapted the song made famous by Rolf Harris into heart-warming story of courage and friendship, currently showing at Lakeside Arts Centre. The enchanting tale follows two unlikely friends, Joe and Jack, as they reminisce about their friendship over the years. Join them as they return to a time when they were just two little boys playing with their wooden horses, right through to serving in the war during adulthood and finally as dear old friends. The play is suitable for all ages; it provides delightful humorous scenes to engage the little ones, and draws in an older audience with fond memories of their own past friendships. A charming set provides the perfect backdrop to the performance, and playful sound effects add another dimension.
