Spring is just around the corner and as the daffodils start to bloom across Nottinghamshire there is no better time to step outside and see what our city and county have to offer. See what will be hot this spring and summer at the choreographed performances which take place every hour. If you spot something you like then go into the city and buy the clothes you have seen on the catwalk. Clumber Park Duathlon 2014 – Clumber Park, Worksop Time: From 9am Admission: Prices vary If you want a serious challenge then sign up for the Clumber Park Duathlon  which takes place on 22nd March. Run and cycle through acres of beautiful woodland and enjoy one of the most picturesque settings and most tree lined routes in the UK. Enter online via One Step Beyond. Bunnies & Bonnets – Framework Knitters Museum, Ruddington Time: 11am - 4pm Admission: Adults £4, children without a bunny or bonnet £2, children with a bunny or bonnet FREE The annual Bunnies & Bonnets event returns to The Framework Knitters Museum on 8th April. Wear your best Easter bonnet and help the museum find all the knitted bunnies. Any youngster who can help find all the knitted bunnies will be rewarded with a delicious Easter egg. Spring Home and Garden Market – Making it! Discovery Centre, Mansfield Time: 10am – 5pm Admission: FREE No matter what the weather, there is something for everyone at Making it! Discovery Centre this Easter (18th – 21st April). While the adults browse the gardening and plant stalls, watch demonstrations to learn how a spring flower basket is arranged and try for a win on the tombola, children can enjoy numerous crafts and Easter treats. St George’s Day – Nottingham Admission: FREE Celebrate St George’s Day in Nottingham on 23rd April. The grand parade that will feature St George and the Dragon, costumed characters, marching bands and members of The Royal Society of St George, will arrive in the Old Market Square for 12.30pm. Once again, the gigantic St George’s Day flag will be proudly displayed on the Council House – you will not miss it! Robin Hood Tour – Nottingham Time: Varies (contact the Tourism Centre on 0844 477 5678 or Ezekial Bone) Admission: Adults £10, Under 14s £6 As the weather begins to get slightly warmer, why not book onto a Robin Hood Town Tour with Robin Hood himself? Join the extremely knowledgeable Ezekial Bone (aka Ade Andrews) on an adventure of the city and discover how simple ballads over 700 years old grew into one of the greatest stories ever told. Did you know that Ade's tour has also been nominated for this year's Visit England Tourism Superstar Award? Vote for him via the Mirror website and spread the word via social media using the hashtag #VoteRobin.
