The NEAT Festival starts tomorrow - and we have a pair of tickets to give away to Bolero which is showing at Nottingham Playhouse on 31st May and 1st June. Not only that  but the winner can also enjoy a delicious Bramley Apple Martini Cocktail before the show courtesy of the Ned Ludd. The cocktail was created for Experience Nottinghamshire and Visit England as part of English Tourism Week and it was inspired by the Bramley Apple, which originates in Southwell. Bolero, which is written by Nottingham playwright Michael Pinchbeck, stars six performers from the UK, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Germany, along with a community cast of 30. It takes Maurice Ravel's piece of music Bolero and uses it to chart the key events of the 20th century, starting with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo and leading up to Torvill and Dean's gold medal winning performance at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. But in a tragic twist, the stadium in which they performed was later bombed during the Balkan conflict. For further information on what's on during the NEAT Festival visit the website.
