Revolution Hockley opens with a brand new look

Retro style furniture and décor, cocktail-making and a brand menu are just some of the things you can look forward to at the newly-refurbished Revolution Hockley. Located in possibly the hippest neighbourhoods in the city, Revolution Hockley has something for everyone, whether you are planning a relaxed lunch or after-work drinks with friends or want to dance late into the night. The makeover took just one week to complete and the bar is now open for business once again. In keeping with the area’s vintage clothes shops and cafes, Revolution Hockley now has a distinctly bohemian feel. Natural materials such as wood and leather form part of the new décor and the large venue has been cleverly sectioned to make it feel more intimate. Of course, those wanting to strut their stuff still have a fabulous dance floor and there is now a built-in DJ booth to create the ultimate party atmosphere. The official launch night will take place on 20th February and it promises to be a fun-filled evening featuring a jazz and swing band, mini cocktail masterclasses and competitions as well as the chance to try drinks from the brand new cocktail menu. The event starts at 6pm and is open to the public, although priority will be given to those with an invitation. Aly Levy, who is Sales and Events Manager at Revolution Hockley, said: “We’re still the same bar we used to be but we just wanted to make it better for the customers. We want to keep the quirky vibe you get here but we think people will be blown away by it.” Following the launch, customers will be able to look forward to a host of great offers, including 50 per cent off food all day on Mondays. There will also be a brand new food menu launched on 6th April.
