The second Nottingham Craft Beer Week is set to take place across some of Nottingham's best loved  pubs, bars, bottle shops and breweries next week. From 4th-10th July, craft brew enthusiasts across the city will be clinking glasses at the only event of its kind outside of London. Notts has certainly gotten a taste for speciality beer in recent years, boasting a string of thriving independent businesses, from the laid back California style Junkyard bar to the well-established local favourite Bunkers Hill.

Junkyard 3 Saturday 2nd July Annies Burger Shack Street Party, from 12pm The all-American and Nottingham famous Annie's Burger Shack are kicking things off with an Independence Day street party. There will be a mobile bar offering craft keg beer and real ales, as well as burgers, music and fun stalls throughout the day. Tuesday 5th July Black Iris and INFL at Southbank City Black Iris Brewery and DIY gig promoter I'm Not From London are setting up shop in the brand new Southbank City Bar for a night of great music and great beer. Wednesday 6th July Comedy and Beers at the Cross Keys, 6pm The cross key comedy night, Fowl Humour has a very special lineup of funny guests and craft brew on tap for the occasion. Ilkley Tap Takeover at Ocean State Tavern, 5pm The resident bar in Annie's Burger Shack will be getting a helping hand from one of Yorkshire's finest breweries. NEWS. The Ned Ludd pub in Nottingham held a beer and cheese evening on November 11th. John Leape from Duvel UK put on a selection of four beers accompanied by cheeses for the guests. Thursday 7th July Runaway Tap Tap Takeover at The Nedd Ludd, 5pm The Runaway Brewery was founded in Manchester in 2014 to help modernise British beer and beer culture. You can get to know their range of craft ales in the home of proper food and drink, the Nedd Ludd on Friar Lane. Meet Elusive Brewing at The Canalhouse, 6pm The award-winning Elusive Brewing can be tracked down at the Canalhouse this Craft Beer Week for a Meet the Brewer and Tap Takeover event. Thornbridge Tap Takeover at the Embankment, 5pm The historical pub in Jesse Boot's former office and pharmacy will host the innovative Thornebridge brewers, hailing from Bakewell. Friday 8th July Fourpure Tap Takeover The Canalhouse, 6pm The brewing brothers at Fourpure Brewing Co have been at the forefront of London's beer scene since 2013. Sample some of their wares in the unique canal-side venue. canalhouse2 Saturday 9th July Wildcard Tap Takeover The Nedd Ludd, 5pm Jaega Wise of the East London based brewery is originally from Nottingham and will return to the city to show off some Wild Card specialities. Monday 4th - Sunday 10th July  TryPA at at the Crafty Crow Nottingham's newest craft brewers Pica Brewery will be showcasing their brand new IPAs at the tap house next to the Castle. Crafty Menu at the Crafty Crow Beer tasting is hungry work. The Crafty Crow are pairing their fine craft beers with equally fine traditional British fare.
