Fireworks Extravaganza at Newark Showground

Celebrate this Guy Fawkes Night at Newark RUFC who are presenting a new take on their annual display at their new Fireworks Extravaganza for 2021. This means there’s something new for everyone, even regular visitors. The display will feature fab fireworks set to music better than ever before, various filling food options and a fun fairground to dazzle the senses. Gates open from 5.30pm giving you plenty of time to get settled, enjoy the festivities and grab a bite to eat before the display starts at 7.30pm.

Moxie Brawl Presents - Punk Alley

Break from the mould and join Moxie Brawl this Saturday for an unapologetic joyride of live punk music and high energy dance at Punk Alley. A show full of heart, it is a fun space for young people to explore their voice and what's important to them, highlighting the importance of self-expression. Dance, sing, shout, whisper, stomp, spin, sign and shake with the live band, Lazurr Tuts, who are a world-famous, foot stomping punk band. Everyone is invited to participate in creating songs, writing placards, and playing music.

A Christmas Carol – A Ghost Story

Get in the Christmas spirit and enter the world of Charles Dickens in this latest adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Mark Gatiss (Doctor Who, Sherlock), who also stars as Jacob Marley in the classic ghost story. Once Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the spirit of his former business partner Jacob Marley, he meets three more eerie encounters. But is it too late for Ebenezer Scrooge to change his miserly ways? Join along and enjoy spine-tingling special effects which capture the true heart and spirit of the original novel.

Bonfire Night at The Engine Yard

Enjoy Guy Fawkes’ Night at Belvoir Caste and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display provided by MLE Pyrotechnics at The Engine Yard. Stay after the display and enjoy further drinks at The Balloon Bar where you can enjoy some live music.
