At the Company Bar, guests can enjoy a wide selection of local beers and wines, along with hot drinks, snacks, and soft drinks, available from up to two hours before any performance. The bar is not only open before and after shows but also hosts exclusive events such as quiz nights, themed acoustic evenings, and creative workshop sessions.
Outside the building stands the striking Sky Mirror, a six-metre-wide sculpture by renowned artist Anish Kapoor. Installed in 2001 and weighing over ten tonnes, it transformed the entrance to the building and has since become a major tourist attraction in the city. While both the Playhouse and the Sky Mirror possess their own distinct identities, together they contribute to the vibrant creative experience that Nottingham Playhouse offers. The Company Bar provides the perfect vantage point from which to admire this remarkable work of art while enjoying a drink or event.
The space is also available for private hire, offering an ideal venue for parties, celebrations, networking events, and corporate functions.
