Celtic Showcase Night
I'm teaming up with the brilliant Richie Muir for something a bit special. We're blending Richie's Celtic Songbook — packed with some of Ireland and Scotland's greatest traditional and modern songs — with my fun, social and inclusive ceilidh style for a night of big tunes, proper craic and dancing that gets everybody involved.
So if you fancy a good singalong, a lively ceilidh and a cracking night out with lovely folk, you will love this.
Ceilidh dancing: straight after, with all the usual craic
Finish: Auld Lang Syne, a few more songs, then away for 10.45 pm
Tickets are £20 and go online in August. Kids are welcome, and you can bring them along to join in for free.
These nights have got absolute belter written all over them, so keep an eye on the website and Facebook page for ticket links and updates.
See you on the dance floor.
Slàinte Mhath,
Schuggie

Never been to a ceilidh? (That's Kay-Lea btw)
Doesn't matter if you're a total newbie or a ceilidh veteran – I, (Schuggie ), will be calling the dances so you'll know exactly what to do… or at least think you do. The beauty of it?
Nobody's 100% sure what's going on, so there's zero pressure. You just laugh, spin, and stumble in the best possible way.
You'll dance with everyone (yes, strangers – it's half the fun). The more people, the more chaotic and brilliant it gets. We even have our Ceilidh Ninjas on hand to steer you in the right direction if you get lost mid-twirl.

Why you'll love it:
Fun, social, and inclusive vibes
Mistakes are part of the game (and the best part)
Dress how you like – jeans, kilts, glitter – we've seen it all
Wear something you can move in (ceilidhs are basically cardio in disguise)

Extra bits:
We sometimes film to help improve future ceilidhs & show the world how awesome you lot are. If you don't want to be on camera, just say so on the night.
No BYOB – grab your drinks at the bar. Same landlord, so free water too!

So… ready to laugh, dance, and meet your new best mates?
Grab your pals. Bring your sense of humour. Let's make Greyfriars bounce.
