Hosted by poet and Notts TV Book Club's Dr Becky Cullen, NTU Arts are celebrating all things rap in writing and music, with an interview with author Aniefiok Ekpoudom and leading figures from the Nottingham music scene.
In conversation with musician and producer Ash Balu and legendary rapper Cappo, Aniefiok joins NTU Arts to talk about his book "Where We Come From: Rap, Home and Hope in Modern Britain", which traces the development of rap from London to the West Midlands and Wales. And they're bringing some East Midlands music heritage into the mix with live performances by Cappo, Jah Digga, and (fresh off the Glastonbury stage) hip hop sensation Jayahadadream.
