Beeston residents are invited to mark their calendars for a special event at the Beeston Youth & Community Centre. An afternoon of free, world-class big band music promises to be the perfect way to spend a Sunday.
Taking centre stage will be the legendary Nottingham Jazz Orchestra (NJO) — Nottingham’s longest-running 17-piece ensemble, formed in the 1970s. This professional big band is renowned for its tight arrangements and infectious swing. Whether attendees are dedicated jazz enthusiasts or simply looking for a lively Sunday afternoon out, the NJO’s powerful wall of sound is guaranteed to get toes tapping.
