Join bestselling author Kate Thompson and Holocaust survivor Renee Salt for a conversation about A Mother's Promise. Written in collaboration with Renee, the book tells her story of survival, from Auschwitz-Birkenau to Bergen-Belsen. 

Please note that Kate and Renee will be joining the event online and will be viewed in the Pears Memorial Hall on screen at the museum. 

During the day, the museum will also be showing Renee's recorded testimony at scheduled times for you to hear Renee tell her story. 

Pre-recorded Testimony 10am - 11am, 11:30am-12:30pm & 2:30pm-3:30pm 

At 1pm Kate and Renee will join online to reflect on the powerful bond between mother and daughter, and Kate will share how - more than 80 years later-she uncovered what happened to Renee's father. 

Renee's book will be available to purchase in our bookshop.
