Birds for Beginners

About

Saturday 25th January 2025| 9am-11am
RSPB Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe
£8 (£6.40 RSPB members)

Take a guided walk in Sherwood Forest to discover the joy of birdwatching.

Led by a knowledgeable volunteer guide, the walk will cover how to find and identify common species, understand their behaviours, the importance of preserving their habitats, and the basics of birdwatching.

As with any nature walk in the wild, there is no guarantee of seeing any particular species.

Nevertheless it will be a fascinating insight into British birdlife, and to discover how the woodland teems with life even in the coldest months of the year.
