The prestigious Nottingham Theatre Royal has a fascinating story to tell and who better to tell it than its resident ghost? Ezekial Bone plays 'Everyman', a manifestation of the human emotion imprinted within the fabric of the building.
Join him on a journey through the heart of Nottingham's theatre land. Enter the inner sanctum of his ‘Temple of Thespis’. Stand on the hallowed stage and imagine a thousand faces staring back. See behind the scenes and learn how the theatre works. Hear about the great architects who built this monument to the arts. Imagine the ghosts of actors past, waiting in the wings.
Be transported from the boom of theatre in Victorian times and the Opening Night in 1865, to the contemporary world of entertainment of today in the Royal Concert Hall.
As featured in the Guardian’s ‘Secret Britain’ Guide.
Price - £9 - Suitable for all ages (please note there are flights of stairs). Tour length approximately 90 minutes.
