Green Hustle 2026

About

Saturday 30 May 2026
Old Market Square

FREE event

Green Hustle is back — and this year they're spreading across the city. On Saturday 30th May, join thousands of people across three locations in Nottingham city centre for a free day of creativity, community and climate action.

Sowing creativity, care, resilience, joy, solutions - a million mini revolutions. Think "oh wow!" moments, composting compassion, spring optimism, a solarpunk playground of human-nature connectedness. If a seed is a start, a festival is a whole packet of potential.

  • Music, dancers, circus acts, and performances spread across the three sites.
  • Discover local artisans, sustainable brands, and independent creators.
  • workshops, upcycling, and making — for all ages, across all three sites.
  • a practical space for financial wellbeing, home energy advice, and independent living support, in partnership with Experian and E.ON. Because a greener city should be a fairer one too.
  • Pull up a chair at our long community table in Old Market Square. Pay what you feel hot meals from Himmah Community Kitchen, Veggies and Abeyo Ethiopia. Over 550 meals served last year.
  • Get stuck in with planting sessions, interactive workshops, and upcycling fun.
