Andy Barrett, Artistic Director of Excavate, has been making plays with communities across the region for the past thirty years.

In this illustrated talk, he will draw on some of the company's many shows to explore the challenges and rewards of this work, and offer advice for those who would like to develop their own projects. This talk is part of the 37 Plays Festival.
