Amid the hustle and bustle of the festive season we are delighted to keep our doors open late, until 8pm on Wednesday 10 & 17 December, offering evening entry to our exhibitions and sophisticated shopping for gift buyers in search of something unique and different.
Come browse our shop, with its acclaimed range of ceramics, glassware, jewellery, homewares, toys and books, and discover all sorts of exciting things by designers, makers and publishers from across the UK. It's the perfect place to pick up a gift, with every penny supporting our exhibitions and education programmes.
Or, take time out from the retail rat race to explore our exhibitions in the evening - a rare opportunity!
We are currently showcasing two powerful exhibitions: Feels Strangely Good, Ya? – the first international institutional solo exhibition of the late Balinese artist I Gusti Ayu Kadek Murniasih "Murni" – and Prisoners of Love: Until the Sun of Freedom, a major new commission by the Palestinian artist duo Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme. You can pre-book entry to our exhibitions here.
And don't forget to grab a drink and relax to Live Christmas Jazz at Blend Contemporary, our stylish café, who will be serving festive spiced refreshments as well as their usual range of hot and cold beverages.
Give What You Can
Entry to our exhibitions, events, fairs and our family activities is free but we need your support.
Your donations make it possible to keep doing everything we do: from our world-leading exhibitions to our activities for families, young people and schools. With your support we can continue making a difference to the cultural, educational and social life of Nottingham and the East Midlands.
Please support us with a donation and register for Gift Aid to add 25% at no extra cost to you.
Access
This event is wheelchair accessible.
If you have any questions around access or have specific access requirements we can accommodate, please get in touch with us by emailing info@nottinghamcontemporary.org or phoning 0115 948 9750.
