The Ultimate Bank Holiday Day Out
Celebrate a magical Superheroes & Princesses Family Fun Raceday this August Bank Holiday, perfectly timed for the school summer holidays and packed with entertainment for all ages. Combining thrilling live flat racing with family-friendly attractions, this special event creates the perfect balance of sporting excitement and unforgettable family fun.
Children can enjoy a day filled with favourite characters, interactive experiences and exciting activities, while adults can relax and enjoy the lively atmosphere of a summer raceday. With plenty taking place across the racecourse, it offers a memorable Bank Holiday outing for families looking for something special.
Family Fun and Entertainment
There is much more to enjoy than the racing action alone, with entertainment taking place across the racecourse throughout the day. Character appearances and meet-and-greet opportunities provide the chance to meet favourite superheroes and princesses, while additional attractions create a fun-filled atmosphere for younger visitors.
Activities include children's funfair rides and inflatables, face painting, animal encounters from White Post Farm, a magician and circus workshop, plus an exciting treasure hunt adventure. Please note that funfair rides, inflatables and face painting are available for a small additional charge.
Wet Weather Guarantee
British weather can be unpredictable, which is why a Wet Weather Guarantee has been introduced for added peace of mind. If rain falls from gate opening until the conclusion of the final race on Monday 31st August, visitors will be invited back to an alternative raceday free of charge.
This guarantee offers reassurance that even if the weather does not cooperate, another opportunity to enjoy the racing experience will be available. Full terms and conditions apply.
Bring the Whole Family
The August Bank Holiday provides the ideal opportunity for a family day out during the school holidays, with all under-18s able to attend free of charge. Children can enjoy the excitement of horses racing down the track, take part in activities and experience live racing in a welcoming and family-friendly setting.
Whether continuing a family tradition or visiting for the first time, this event offers entertainment and activities suitable for all ages.
Celebrate in Style
The celebrations continue with special drinks offers available during the first hour after gates open, including discounts on selected soft drinks, beers and wines.
Combining exciting racing, family entertainment, food, drink and a sociable atmosphere, this Bank Holiday raceday offers a memorable way to make the most of the long weekend and create lasting summer memories.
