Members of East Midlands Book Fest Group (all local authors) present Nottingham Book Festival in support of local authors.
The event aims to introduce new authors to readers, and encourage and support aspiring writers. There will be talks / workshops / stallholders. Guests are historical novelist Elizabeth Chadwick, crime writers Stephen Booth, YA Sci Fi author Ian C Douglas, playwright, screenplay writer, producer and actor William Ivory, plus Eve Makis and Anthony Cropper NTU MA Creative writing tutors who are also authors.
We will also be joined by professionals from publishing, illustration and graphic design, and a literary agency. Plus former BBC Radio and TV presenter, John Holmes will be hosting our panel session.
Entry to the event is free but talks and workshops will incur a fee of £5.50, which includes a 10% admin charge.
