Locating music in its social and historical context, this is an evening to rediscover your classical favourites performed by the highly acclaimed Leicester Symphony Orchestra. With symbolic musical imagery and dramatic theatrical use of instruments across the whole orchestra, this evening of pieces sees a wonderful showcasing from each of the four sections individually and beautifully – the woodwind, percussion, brass and then strings – and bringing them all together in the boldest finale.
