Orchestra of the Restoration
Peter Davis (conductor & organ)
Peter Siepmann (guest conductor)

Join us in the stunning surroundings of St Mary's Church for a concert featuring St Mary's adult and junior choirs performing Schubert's youthful and popular Mass in G. The adult choir also sings the composer's joyful setting of the Magnificat, contrasting it with Vaughan Williams' exquisitely beautiful Serenade to Music.

The church's renowned Marcussen organ takes centre stage as the church's Director of Music performs Poulenc's renowned Organ Concerto, a dramatic work that contrasts powerful, lyrical and light-hearted writing. The programme is completed by a lively short symphony by 18th Century composer William Boyce.
