Story Telling Evening at Southwell Workhouse, Friday 13th May 6:30-8:30pm
Part of Museums at Night, this special storytelling tour gives visitors the opportunity to hear costumed characters recounting how they found some comfort in this much feared institution.
Find out what happened to the widow who was given sanctuary when her husband was killed in an accident. Or to the woman who was accused of child murder, did she get justice? The answers to these genuine cases will be revealed on the evening.
Tickets cost £10 adult, £5 child (suitable for 12 years and over) and need to be pre-booked by calling 0844 249 1895 (5% booking fee applies).
