RSPB Sherwood Forest
£9 Adults (£7.40 RSPB members) | £5 Child (£4.20 for RSPB members)
William de Tankerville knows more than most about the secrets and the history of Sherwood Forest, for the Sheriff of Nottingham's Master at Arms has been pursuing outlaws in the woodland for centuries.
His fascinating tours among the ancient oak trees are the perfect way to uncover some of the mysteries that linger among their boughs and branches.
He knows the most beautiful pathways through the forest…and the deadliest too. And on the way you'll learn much about the woodland's most famous inhabitant, and about Medieval life.
The walk takes 90 minutes and appropriate footwear for woodland trails is recommended.
Dogs are not permitted on this walk.
