A collection of stories, memories, quotes and digital assets that have been gathered from Nottingham residents whilst co-creating a new performance.
1.30 to 2.45pm | Community Conversation: Exploring the City's Experience in Shaping Movement and Meaning
Discover the story of the Nottdance Festival through its community partners and audiences. Explore how Nottingham's vibrant culture and unique sense of place have shaped and inspired the festival's evolution over time. This open panel invites you to share your thoughts, ask questions, and be part of a lively dialogue celebrating creativity, community, and the rich artistic spirit that makes Nottdance truly special.
3 to 4pm | Dancing on a Clean Sheet of Paper by The Nottingham Ensemble
Performance, stories, music, dance collected with the people of Nottingham brought to life by Director Alan Lyddiard and Choreographer Tamara McLorg to bring you Dancing on a Clean Sheet of Paper.
The Nottingham Ensemble is a newly formed collective of humans from Nottingham, who have come together to share their stories of dance from the City of Nottingham.
Join for this emotive and powerful unveiling of personal histories of dance.
A 20-minute post show talk will follow the performance which you're welcome to join.
