Sun, sand and the feeling of the seaside returns to Old Market Square. Nottingham Beach brings six weeks of summer fun, entertainment and seaside vibes right into the heart of Nottingham City Centre.

This year more than ever, we could all do with a bit of sunshine, a chance to relax and somewhere to enjoy time together - and that’s exactly what Nottingham Beach is all about.

Old Market Square will once again be transformed with real sand, rides, games, beach bars, food, drinks and FREE entertainment all summer long.
Traditional Nottingham Beach favourites are back for 2026, including:

  • Monday Movie Nights
  • Tuesday Salsa Nights
  • Wednesday Beach Volleybal
  • And live music and entertainment throughout the week

Alongside returning favourites, visitors can also expect brand new acts, fresh entertainment and new surprises still to be announced across the summer.

Whether you’re spending the day with the family, meeting friends for cocktails in the sunshine or relaxing and watching the entertainment, Nottingham Beach is designed to be a fun and affordable day out for everyone.
