Nottingham Beach
Tuesday 25 July - Sunday 3 September 2023
Old Market Square
Dig out your flip flops, pop on your shades and get ready for a summer of fun. Nottingham’s favourite beach will be back at Old Market Square this summer.
The country’s best beach attraction returns for 2023 to provide Nottingham folk and visitors to the city with a splash of the seaside in the heart of the city centre.
The Giant Slip ‘n Slide is the best way to cool off and escape the summer heatwave. This ticketed attraction within Nottingham Beach comprises two giant inflatable waterslides:
The Arrow is the largest inflatable urban waterslide in the UK. A 55m long, 14m wide, 13m high, two-lane waterslide where you can race against your friends.
Little John is a 22m long, 18m wide, 7.5m high waterpark with 6 lanes of slides. Splashing in to an 18m x 10m pool that can also be used for general paddling.
Entry to the Giant Slip ‘n Slide can be booked in advance to avoid disappointment on the day. Tickets for hourly slots are priced at £12.50 per person, and £10.50 for Nottingham city residents (tickets must be booked online to obtain the resident discount).
Other rides and attractions will include:
Starflyer
Convoy
Bungee trampolines
Hook a duck and darts
Seaside penny pusher machines
Feeling peckish? There will be a variety of stalls offering food, drinks and sweet treats including the Beach Bar. Visitors with a sweet-tooth can enjoy Nutella-filled crepes or, for something more substantial, Greek gyros will feed hungry sun-seekers.
Fancy a nice cold beer or a crisp glass of wine? Then the Beach Bar is your summer hotspot, with the table service app making it easy for beachgoers to have their ice-cold drinks brought right to them.
Entry is still FREE for visitors wanting to enjoy the beach and paddling area.
Nottingham Beach also offers party packages from ages 5 and up, whether it’s a birthday party, celebration or just for the fun of getting together.
