About

Various dates from September 2026 - March 2027
Boat & Horses
Tickets: £5 on the door

Never been to a ceilidh? (That's Kay-Lea btw) - Fun, laughter, dancing out of time with the music, and probably have sore feet afterwards. It's not technical & half the fun is making mistakes.

Doesn't matter if you're a total newbie or a ceilidh ninja – Schuggie, will be calling the dances so you'll know exactly what to do… or at least think you do. The beauty of it? Nobody's 100% sure what's going on, so there's zero pressure. You just laugh, spin, and stumble in the best possible way.
You'll dance with everyone (yes, strangers – it's half the fun). The more people, the more chaotic and brilliant it gets. We even have our Ceilidh Ninjas on hand to steer you in the right direction if you get lost mid-twirl.

Why you'll love it:
Fun, social, and inclusive vibes
Mistakes are part of the game (and the best part)
Dress how you like – jeans, kilts, glitter – they've seen it all
Wear something you can move in (ceilidhs are basically cardio in disguise)

Extra bits:
They sometimes film to help improve future ceilidhs & show the world how awesome you lot are. If you don't want to be on camera, just say so on the night.
No BYO – grab your drinks at the bar. New landlord, so free water too!

So… ready to laugh, dance, and meet your new best mates?
Grab your mates. Bring your sense of humour. Let's make the Boat & Horses bounce.

Tickets? Nah, no stress – just rock up! It's £5 on the door (cash or card), and kids are totally free. You can book ahead if you like feeling organised, but honestly… they love a last-minute legend. On these Beeston ceilidh nights, we will be dancing to recorded music.
Doors: 7.30 pm
Dancing kicks off: About 8-ish (we're chill like that)
Final fling: Auld Lang Syne at 10.30 pm
