Nottingham's Winter Wonderland is back for 2026, bringing the magic of Christmas to Old Market Square with all the festive favourites visitors know and love, plus some exciting new experiences and surprises to discover this year.
With free entry throughout the event, visitors can soak up the atmosphere without spending a penny, or build their perfect Christmas day or night out with a range of bookable experiences, food, drinks and attractions to suit different budgets.
At the heart of Winter Wonderland is the spectacular Ice Rink and Sky Skate Path, Nottingham’s unique suspended ice trail which takes skaters above Old Market Square and the Christmas Market below. The Observation Wheel will also return, offering panoramic views across the city, while the ever popular Ice Bar is back with an exciting new theme for 2026. The theme is still firmly under wraps, but visitors can expect another memorable experience for families, friends and festive celebrations.
New experiences and features are coming to Winter Wonderland this year, with special announcements still to come. Keep your eyes peeled, you never know what, or who, might turn up. You may even get the chance to meet the man in red himself, Father Christmas!
Entertainment will also play an even bigger part in this year’s Winter Wonderland. A live host will be at the heart of the event throughout the season, alongside live DJs, tribute acts, themed nights and even more entertainment still to be announced.
Visitors will also be able to explore a wide range of stalls throughout the Christmas Market, with festive gifts, crafts, food and seasonal treats filling Old Market Square.
For businesses looking to celebrate the festive season, Nottingham Winter Wonderland is the perfect destination for Christmas parties and team nights out. Whether it’s drinks with colleagues, a Christmas celebration or a full festive night out, there’s something to make your work Christmas party one to remember.
