rarescale are back for our Autumn season!
We are delighted to continue our collaboration with East Midlands chamber ensemble rarescale, presenting a series of musical performances responding to our Autumn Season exhibitions Julia Isídrez: Mud is everything and Sarah Cunningham: Midnight Sun.
As the nights draw in and Winter creeps upon us, Carla Rees (flutes) and her guests will explore the creative realm of the nocturnal and the spiritual journey into dark, before celebrating daybreak and the return of precious light.
Each performance will present free improvisations and new works composed especially for the ensemble. There will be three performances held in Studio 1, each lasting around 30 minutes.
This event is supported by rarescale.
