Step into an unforgettable summer adventure with Rufford's Time Travel Trail — a brand-new interactive experience for families and young explorers!
From 19 July to 2 September, the historic grounds of Rufford Abbey Country Park will be transformed into a journey through the ages. Will they meet a Victorian lady out for a stroll, spot a pirate hunting treasure, or cross paths with a daring knight—or someone even more ancient?
This immersive trail is packed with family-friendly fun, including movement challenges, spot-the-object games, and quiz questions that bring history to life. As they explore the gardens, woods, and ruins, children will discover fascinating snippets from the past—while having plenty of fun along the way.
Trail sheets are £3 per child and include a small prize, which can be collected after completing the trail. Sheets and prizes are available daily from 10am to 3pm at the Courtyard Gift Shop.
